Products

Our product line is known as StorAudit. It includes a set of functional modules and a set of
technical modules, both described below.

Functional Modules

The StorAudit Engine is responsible for automating the data collection across the infrastructure.
It carries manual launch and scheduled launch capabilities.

The StorAudit Alerter is responsible for propagating alerts through SMS, email, SNMP traps or
customisable means.

The StorAudit Viewers can be used to retrieve data of requests currently being run (Instant
Viewer), of requests previously run (Historical Viewer), of financial aspects linked to the
components analysed (Financial Viewer), of charge back information that will be generated
based on the rules you defined and on the data collected (Chargeback Viewer).

Technical Modules

The FSAudit module enables the collection of directory or file system specific information such
as volume capacity, volume usage, volume type (JBOD, SAN, NAS, CDROM, ...), file size, type,
access date, create date, update date and owner information.

The SYSAudit module enables the collection of system specific information related to storage
configuration and utilisation such as CPU load, installed HBAs, storage bandwidth usage, storage
workload, installed NICs, network bandwidth usage, network load, OS type and version, ...

The NASAudit module enables the collection of NAS appliances specific information and acts
as a proxy in order to reach discovered NAS devices such as the appliance type and OS version,
CPU Load, network load, storage load, ... (coming soon)

The SANAudit module is currently being designed.
